DavidsTea Sent Me a Care Package & My Recent Tea Haul
A few weeks ago I received a very exciting DM on Instagram—THE DavidsTea wanted to send ME a care package. I was so honored and excited that they thought of me, and have really enjoyed trying the teas they sent, so I thought I would show them off. I also recently ordered some tea on my own from DavidesTea, and though I haven’t tried any of them yet, I thought I would show off my haul.
My Care Package
DavidsTea sent me three teas and a 20 pack of tea filters. I use their tea filters so often I bought a 200 pack of them at Christmas-time. And though I am no where near finished with those, I will definitely use all of the filters eventually.
For the teas, they sent me Honey Black, Jasmine Rooibos, and Vanilla Orchid. Honey Black is the only one of the three teas I had tried previously, and I really enjoy it. It is a dark, classic black tea with a hint of creaminess too it. On the other hand, jasmine Rooibos is definitely a little outside my tea comfort zone. I do like rooibos, I just almost never buy it for myself. I also wasn’t too sure about the jasmine as it is usually too strong for me, but this blend is actually stronger in orange flavor. Finally, Vanilla Orchid was probably the one I was most excited for because a friend of mine tried it a while ago and enjoyed it. It has the most delicious vanilla scent, and though the vanilla flavor isn’t as strong, it is still a really yummy and enjoyable tea that I find myself reaching for pretty often.
Recent Order
I recently ran out of my Vanilla Matcha from DavidsTea which I really enjoyed, but rather than order more, I decided I wanted to try more flavors. I knew I wanted to order a sample pack, but I couldn’t decide which one. So, I ordered three: the Matcha Discovery Sampler, the Summer Matcha Discovery Sampler (the one from last summer), and the Discover Your Matcha Kit. Between the three kits, I now have 10 flavors of matcha to try including blueberry, peach, yuzu, bubble gum, mango, raspberry, cherry blossom, coconut, cream of Earl Grey (yes, that’s a matcha flavor), and strawberry. The sample packs also included Vanilla Matcha, which I am excited to have more of, and Matcha Matsu, which I enjoy but am still working through my original package of. Of all the flavors, I am definitely most excited to try raspberry and mango. I also interested in comparing the blueberry matcha to Dunkin’ Donut’s new iced blueberry matcha latte.
In addition to the matchas, I also had a free 2 oz of tea to redeem. I decided to go with Strawberries & Cream which is an oolong tea that I’ve had my eye on for a while now. With summer coming up, I’m hoping that it it makes a good iced tea and maybe even an iced tea latte.
This blog post was a little different than most, but I was just really excited about the care package and my recent purchase. I want to thank DavidsTea once again for sending me the goodies—I really, really appreciate it and am enjoying the teas a lot. Finally, if you’re interested in my thoughts on all the new tea I bought, be sure to follow me on Instagram and check back soon for another blog post.
