Argo Tea's Signature Favorites
Argo Tea is like no other tea shop I have ever seen. They offer a variety of tea drinks, as well as food, loose leaf tea, and merchandise. The first time I went in, I was bit overwhelmed by the options. Thankfully, they have their Signature Favorites to make ordering much easier. Even now, after I have been there hundreds of times and know the menu like the back of my hand, I still turn to these drinks very often.
Carolina Honey
The Carolina Honey tastes like a classic tea, with a strong honey flavor. It is sweeter iced because the honey does not mix as well, but both are pretty sweet. I recommend anyone new to Argo Tea starts with the Carolina Honey. It is also great (hot) if you have a cold or are feeling sick.
Green Tea Ginger Twist
I’m going to be honest, I do not like this tea. Hot, the flavor is not bad but the aftertaste is very unpleasant in my opinion. Iced, the ginger flavor is extremely strong and I like it even less. On the first sip, I swallowed a mouthful of something grainy which I am assuming was fresh ginger pieces. To be fair, I am not a big fan of green tea, and this tea has shown me that I do not really like ginger either. If you like both or even one of these flavors, you may like this tea. If you are not sure, I definitely recommend getting it hot as the flavors are more blended and not as strong.
Hibiscus Apple Cider
The Hibiscus Apple Cider tastes very different hot and iced, as I find most hibiscus teas do. Hot it tastes like apple crisp (one of my favorite desserts), with a slight hint of hibiscus. The iced tea has a stronger hibiscus flavor, with a slight crisp flavor from the apple. It is still sweet, but not as sweet as the Carolina Honey. Either way this drink is perfect for fall, but also great all year long. Getting it hot will warm you up in the winter, while getting it iced can refresh you in the summer.
