Two Sisters Tea Review

At the beginning of this year, I was fortunate enough to win a giveaway from fellow tea blogger Danielle from Tea and Me. In the amazing giveaway package was four packages of Two Sisters Tea—one of each flavor of their hibiscus iced tea. After almost a full year of drinking and making recipes with these teas, I’m finally going to review all the flavors.

Original Hibiscus Iced Tea

The original hibiscus iced tea is probably my favorite of all the flavors. All the flavors are slightly tart and perfectly sweet with just a quarter cup of sugar, but I really enjoy the simplicity of the original flavor. It makes great combinations with frozen fruit and sparking water or dried fruit and lemonade, and was also really interesting with coconutmilk and vanilla. Both of these ideas came from the Two Sisters Tea Instagram page—and they have ton of other recipes with the original flavor that I can’t wait to try. The only problem is that I already finished all three tea bags that come in the package, so I’m going to need to order more.

Hibiscus Iced Tea with Cinnamon

I first tried the cinnamon flavor back in the spring and didn’t have any strong opinions about it one way or another. Then, Two Sisters Tea posted some fall and winter combinations on their Instagram, and I knew I had to try them. First, I tried heating the tea up and adding a cinnamon stick, which I really enjoyed. It definitely gave me cozy winter vibes. Then, I kept it iced but added apple slices and cinnamon sticks, which I also really liked. I’m also going to try the cinnamon hibiscus with frozen fruit and sparkling water, and try it plain again to see if I still get those cozy feelings.

Hibiscus Tea with Cardamom

The cardamom flavor was definitely my least favorite the first time I made it (confession: I didn’t even finish the pitcher). But, then I tried it with frozen blueberries and sparking water, and that totally changed my mind about it. The sparkling water balances out the cardamom really well, and after sitting for a few minutes, the blueberries add a really nice flavor. I actually prefer the cardamom flavor over the original when adding fruit and sparkling water.

Hibiscus Tea with Dried Pineapple

I really enjoyed the pineapple flavor of Two Sisters Tea. It is a little bit sweeter than the rest of the flavors and feels very tropical. I have not done and combinations or made any recipes with it yet, but I am looking forward to trying some next spring and summer. I especially want to try the ice pops and the Watermelon Limeade Cocktail.

Hibiscus tea is really delicious and has many health benefits. Two Sisters Tea has multiple flavors that are really delicious and make great recipes, so I highly recommend giving them a try.
